Caribbean WE Announces Partnership with ABMP
New Partnership To Bring Virtual Education for Spa Therapists to 32 Countries in the Caribbean Region!
Caribbean Wellness & Education (WE) , the leader in Caribbean spa and wellness education has partnered with Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) to bring online education directly to your practitioners and island!
ABMP was established in 1987 and now has more than 80,000 members across the United States. ABMP offers top-shelf member benefits including more than 175 Continuing Education hours, free customizable websites and marketing materials, and an extensive suite of member benefits.
“We at ABMP are excited to welcome international practitioners who have been wanting to join and access our member benefits,” says Leslie A. Young, Ph.D., ABMP Vice President of Communication and Professional Outreach. “We’re keen to work with all interested professionals who can benefit from our quality online continuing education and are also working to promote wellness across the globe.”
For the past three years WE has been providing spa professionals with continuing education on their home turf. So far they have completed several successful programs in the Bahamas and Jamaica. This year they are scheduled to offer ITEC certified programs in Trinidad, Grenada, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Jamaica. Programs range from Oncology Cancer Care Certification, Prenatal Massage, Energy Medicine, Advanced Esthetics, and a whole host more.
“WE are thrilled to partner with the leading massage therapy association in the Americas, ABMP, who is extending our Caribbean professionals a discount of $175 from the normal annual fee of $199—allowing them to earn a wealth of virtual education credits,” says Caribbean WE Founder Stephanie Rest. “This addition of online offerings will continue to build upon our certifications in the region, ensuring the Caribbean is advancing in global spa and wellness standards.”
Leslie says ABMP is proud to have more than 30 years’ experience of empowering practitioners in North America. “We’re pleased to partner with Stephanie Rest and Caribbean WE in supporting the islands’ bodywork and spa professionals. We are keen to provide quality education to as many practitioners as possible in order to further the level of standards in remote countries and advance the profession as a whole.”
